The day after. What next?

I still haven't had any sleep since Monday morning. I'm buzzing with utter, utter relief for a job completed and the amount that has been raised for the 2 charities is way beyond my wildest dreams. There is still plenty to be written on this blog. The final days of the run are still to be talked about. I've had a lot of invitations to do various things including an invitation to meet the Consul General Danny Lopez for a cup of tea at the British Consulate tomorrow and a lap of honour at St James Park this Saturday!!!). I think the aftermath of this run and it's effects on me will be quite interesting over the next few months.

I'm off out tonight to a party with the NYC NUFC supporters group. I'l only be having a "couple" of beers and hope to relive the final 13 miles with the group that saw me safely to the end in Coney Island.

Thank you to everyone who has made a donation. The fund for St Benedict's Hospice and The Children's Foundation is now over an incredible £74,000 and still climbing.

If you would like to sponsor my run across the USA then donations can be made in a number of ways. www.justgiving.com have introduced a brilliant new free donation method. Did you know that you can now donate to the 2 charities using your mobile phone?
