Day 20 - Comedy Jon's View of things

Earlier today, I asked Comedy Jon (pictured) to give his side of the story on the Support Team. This is that story.

"Let's start with the good news as it won't take long. Mark has not been infiltrated by an alien. What really happened is he went onto best behaviour when an innocent young girl came onto the bus, but slowly his real personality has re-emerged. The double-entendres of Frankie Howerd in Up Pompeii are getting a new airing :-(

Kirsty seems to thrive on the new treatment. She says he has the heartiest laugh ever, and giggles like a girl (pronounced grrrrl!) when she massages his feet.

Mark has complained about being cold at night. When we got the handover on the RV he didn't mention the LPG heater, so we had to find it for ourselves. He was a bit more chirpy this morning after the heater drove the frost away.

To all those who have congratulated Mark on his weight loss, the support crew know where it's going :-( Even when we are sitting two steps away from an immaculate restroom, he heads to the "Throne of Champions" at the back of the bus to fill up the black waste tank. 3100 miles and a very similar number of dumps. You can tell he is not the one to empty the tanks at the dump stations.

Still, onward and upward is our motto, as we head for the overnight at 8,000 feet."
